The iconic Col-o-ring ink testing book, or “swatch book”, is designed by our friend Ana at the Well-Appointed Desk and printed by Skylab Letterpress in Kansas City, Missouri. Available in multiple formats, the Col-o-ring allows you to test, swatch, and compare fountain pen inks. The paper is 160gsm European paper from a 400-year old mill, acid-free and bright, natural white.

Available formats include the Original Col-o-ring (100 sheets); the smaller Col-o-ring “Dipper” (50 sheets), sized to allow you to dip each sheet of paper directly into an ink bottle or sample vial; and the Col-o-ring “Oversize” (40 sheets), a 4” x 5.5” reporter-style pad that can be used for ink testing, swatching, art, and more.
