The Kuru Toga Alpha Gel Switch mechanical pencil combines the innovative “Kuru Toga” rotating lead mechanism with Uni’s soft “Alpha Gel” grip section. The “Switch” mechanism allows you to turn the Kuru Toga rotation mechanism on and off by twisting the clip.

Basically, a Kuru Toga mechanical pencil helps to keep your writing uniform by rotating the lead and preventing it from wearing unevenly. By placing the Alpha Gel Switch in “Hold” mode, you can stop the lead rotation for a more stable feel. (Some people find this better for quick notes and faster handwriting.)

• Mechanical Pencil comes in both .3mm or .5mm lead version. Additional leads are sold separately.
