The Lamy AL-Star features lightweight, yet sturdy, aluminum construction and keeps a similar shape to the classic Lamy Safari. The transparent molded grip gives you a view to the inner workings of the feed and the ink as it flows to the nib. Each year Lamy releases the AL-Star in special edition colors, and this year’s releases are “Fiery” and “Aquatic,” gorgeous metallic red and blue colors with matching transparent sections and black hardware (clips and nibs).
