Designed by Midori to pair perfectly with their fountain pen friendly MD Paper, the Midori MD fountain pen exemplifies simplicity and ease-of-use. Featuring a stainless-steel medium nib similar to those found on the Traveler’s Company line of brass fountain pens, the Midori MD version also accepts short international cartridges and uses a transparent feed/section that will look really interesting should you decide to pair this pen with wilder ink colors. Interestingly, Midori modified the nib to take on a “bird’s beak” shape (slightly downturned), which the company says allows pen to perform well at different writing angles and different amounts of writing pressure.
