While the Platinum Preppy has garnered its (well-deserved) reputation as the ultimate inexpensive fountain pen, the Platinum Prefounte fills a need for an inexpensive - yet still professional - fountain pen at but a slightly higher price point. Featuring the same nib as the Plaisir and Platinum’s signature slip-and-seal cap system (which prevents your pen from drying out for up to a year!), the Prefounte comes in five classy translucent colors and two nib sizes: Fine (03) and Medium (05).
Each pen ships with a cartridge of Platinum ink and is compatible with Platinum Cartridges and Converters (sold separately).
