The latest custom collaboration with Hinze Pens is a play on their “Taschenstift” (“pocket pen”), featuring a micarta/crazyfibre material called “Violet Tendencies” that we’ve chosen to pair with a deep purple anodized section and a lilac nib. While Hinze has made micarta pocket pens that post with threads on the back of the barrel, I wanted to do a model that posts by friction (1) for quicker deployment and (2) to minimize wear on the cap’s internal threads. The metal section provides a nice counterbalance to the lightweight micarta, which has a tactile matte finish which should patina over time.

All nib sizes are available, though most of the pens are EF - Medium. If we run out of Broads and 1.1mm stubs, I can try to procure additional stock. Nibs are hand-tuned by Hinze Pens prior to shipment.
