TWSBI’s latest special edition ECO fountain pen, with the triangular “ECO-T” grip, has arrived! I’ve been waiting for TWSBI to offer the ECO-T in a darker yellow, and this beautiful Saffron color fits the bill.
The TWSBI ECO fountain pen is a true workhorse that’s made for everyone, from the beginner who just wants to try out fountain pens, all the way to seasoned fountain pen experts. Taking different design cues from the TWSBI Diamond 580, the ECO features a postable cap for maximum versatility. The pen also has an inner cap to ensure a perfect seal and prevent the nib from drying out when not in use.
The “ECO-T” model features a rounded triangular grip to offer just a bit more structure to the section, and also features a slightly rounded triangular shape to the cap and piston knob.
Please note that the TWSBI ECO fountain pen is a piston filler, and only accepts bottled ink.
A Quick Guide to TWSBI Nib Sizes, per the Manufacturer:
If you write small, go with an EF
For the normal writer, F is the most popular
If you tend to lean on a bigger font, M will be perfect
B is for statements!! Sign a check in B, write a header in B, do some coloring/shading in B
Stub nibs are italic in writing style (have a special card or invitation to write?)
