What many people don’t know is that the Lamy 2000 ballpoint also comes in these gorgeous polished natural woodgrain barrels, dubbed “Blackwood” (a very dark brown) and “Taxus” (a lighter brown). Weight-wise, they sit somewhere between the stainless steel and Makrolon versions and feel solid and well-balanced in the hand.
