Lamy Studio "Royal Red" Matte Editions (Fountain Pen, Rollerball, or Ballpoint) (2024 Release)

from $63.20

The Lamy Studio is one of the more underrated pens on the market. The signature design touch on the Studio is the “propeller clip” that forms part of the overall Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic, designed by Hannes Wettstein.

The matte “Royal Red” finish gives this pen an exceptional feel, and the round metal section offers a comfortable writing grip and balance in the hand. The friction-fit cap is lightweight and posts well.

The Lamy Studio Royal Red is currently available as a fountain pen, rollerball, or ballpoint. The fountain pen ships with a standard stainless steel nib installed, the Studio will accept any of the same Lamy nibs as the Safari and AL-Star series including the Lamy 14k gold and Calligraphy nibs. The fountain pen also includes a Lamy ink converter and one Lamy cartridge so you can either fill from an ink bottle or pop in the cartridge and get writing immediately.

The Lamy Studio Rollerball uses the Lamy M63 Capped Rollerball refill, and the Ballpoint uses the Lamy M16 Ballpoint refill.

Pens are sold individually and not as a set. Made in Germany.
