The Lamy AL-Star features lightweight, yet sturdy, aluminum construction and keeps a similar shape to the classic Lamy Safari. The transparent molded grip gives you a view to the inner workings of the pen and accentuates the modern design. Each year Lamy releases the AL-Star in special edition colors, and this year’s first release is a double release of “Denim” and “Aubergine”, blue and dusty purple, respectively, with orange and green sections.
