This week, the post-holiday restocks rolled in, including many favorites from Clairefontaine, Caran d’Ache, Book Darts, and M+R. I currently have a good stock of Caran d’Ache limited edition products, including the Klein Blue Fixpencils and Pencil Sets, but I’m down to the last of my Paul Smith and “Claim Your Style” 849s, so if you’ve been eying one of those, I’d act before Caran d’Ache starts rolling out the 2021 editions. Happy shopping!
Unless otherwise indicated, all links are to the T.G.S. Curated Shop.
Traveler’s Notebook Full Line. In addition to the Traveler’s Company “TRC Brass” products, I now stock the full line of Traveler’s Notebooks, refills, and accessories. Check out last week’s post for a glimpse at how I’ve set up my own personal Traveler’s Notebook.
Caran d’Ache “Klein Blue” Limited Edition Fixpencils. Caran d’Ache released its iconic Fixpencil in the “Klein Blue” limited edition Ultramarine finish, and it ships in a limited edition tin with one “B” lead and a tube of three “Klein Blue” Ultramarine leads for sketching or annotating.
M+R Brass Lead Pointers. The best lead pointers on the market are now back in stock, along with Castor and Pollux pencil sharpeners. Check out point comparisons here.
Caran d’Ache “Klein Blue” Limited Edition Pencil Sets. Some of the best-looking pencils that Caran d’Ache has released from the past few years. I secured a set for myself. The graphite is HB, and I find it darker than your average Caran d’Ache pencil.
Caran D’Ache 849 “Black Code” Ballpoints. My personal favorite of all the Caran d’Ache “Pop Line” pens, the stealthy “Black Code” continues to be a reader favorite.
Clairefontaine French-Ruled Notebooks. I had to wait a bit for more to arrive from France, but I’ve received a shipment of Clairefontaine Seyès-ruled paper, in all formats. (The A5 clothbound makes a great personal journal.)
Caran d’Ache Swiss Wood Pencils. I have more of the “Swiss Pine” pencils back in stock, along with the Beech!
Last Call on Caran d’Ache Paul Smith and “Claim Your Style” Editions. I have three of the Paul Smith pens left and want to clear them out to make way for new arrivals in the coming months. I probably won’t be restocking these once they’re gone.
Book Darts! Everyone’s favorite archivally safe line/page markers are back, in all finishes and in both 50 and 100-dart tins.
