A slimmer version of the Pilot Vanishing Point, many users find the Decimo more comfortable for longer writing sessions, especially those with smaller hands or a grip for which the standard V.P. clip proves problematic.

Pilot’s pioneering retractable fountain pens have become modern classics, and after all these years remains by far the most reliable option in the retractable fountain pen product category. Both the Decimo and Vanishing Point use the same excellent 18k gold nib that fully retracts into the pen body, protected by a trapdoor mechanism that also prevents the nib from drying out. The placement of the clip allows you to carry the pen in a shirt pocket in the nib-up position, preventing leaks and spills.

Each pen ships in a Pilot gift box (pictured), and includes an ink converter, a single cartridge, and a metal cartridge cover. Available nib sizes currently include fine and medium. Additional nibs are available for purchase separately, as is the range of bottled Pilot inks.
